iPhone Attacks Possible, Information is not secure

Iphone A group of super geeks, security researchers at (ISE) Independent Security Evaluators having been investigating how hard it would be to steal private info stored on the iPhone.  They were able to do this within two weeks (part time work).  They have uncovered a vulnerability, developed a toolchain for working with the iPhone's architecture (which also includes some tools from the (iphone-dev community), and created a proof-of-concept exploit capable of delivering files from the user's iPhone to a remote attacker.

They even went a step further and notified Apple of the known issue and suggested a patch.  Apple is currently researching. They have also refused to give away the details on how to do this at this time.  A member of their team, Dr. Charlie Miller, will be presenting the full details of discovering the vulnerability and creating the exploit at BlackHat on August 2nd.  Hopefully Apple will have this patched prior to August 2nd.

For the entire story and all the details check out the original story at security evaluators.  For those of you still looking for the most popular device in US, click on the link to find the best iPhone price.
